Okay, so I got the e-mail with the link to your wedding website. I think,
"Oh, that should be cool, let me take a look." I click, I go, I look...
I must admit that I was moved to tears while viewing this site. Why? Myra
and Kevin are such a wonderful example of Godliness, faith, and excellence.
This is no new revelation. I have thought so for years now and could not be
happier for you two.
Myra J., I don't really remember when we began hanging out. I am certain it
was a result of you joining BCCE (Black Celstial Choral Ensemble- Syracuse University Choir) and us living in the same city, but exactly when and how it happened, I am clueless. I guess that doesn't really matter, but what does matter is that you are a friend I hold very near and dear to my heart. We have come a loooooong way from Lambreth Lane and Winding Ridge Road (Hallelujah!!)...
Whether it is a midnight pick-up from the airport, a slammin' batch of Chopped Bar-B-Q (courtesy of the one and only Sarah Linen), or incredible amounts of laughter (I think I laugh more with you than I do with anyone else I know...and I do plenty of laughing!!!), I am grateful for your friendship. I told you the first time I met Kevin that I liked him, and
since then, I never had to worry about your happiness or your well-being,
because I knew he had you, just the way it is supposed to be.
I am excited about what God is doing, and if I can help either of you in any
way, please don't hesitate to let me know.
