| April 6, 1985: As a freshman, Kevin joins Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Theta Xi Chapter at Syracuse University on April 6, 1985. He was #5 on line. April 9, 1994: On his birthday, April 9, 1994, Kevin joins St. Matthew A.M.E. Church. Kevin’s father, Lawrence, was there to witness the miracle. December 10, 1994: As a senior, Myra joins Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Pi Iota Chapter at Syracuse University on December 9, 1994. She was #3 on line. July 3-5 1998: Dinner at Houston’s on Friday, a family cookout on Saturday, and worship at Thessalonia Baptist Church on Sunday. A wonderful “first date” weekend! August 31, 1998: The 1st annual “Chevy Kev Day.” Myra spoils Kevin by whisking him off for a limo ride to dinner, an O Jay’s concert, and the South Street Seaport. December 26, 1998: December 26 begins a tradition of celebrating Kwanza together. In the first year, Kevin blessed Myra with a special gift each day. February 21, 2000: Kevin takes Myra to Williamsburg, Va for a birthday getaway. The trip included stops at Zeta and Sigma’s National Headquarters in Wash, D.C. May 26, 2000: In front of 353 people at the Annual Step Show and Mixer, Kevin proposes to his future bride. The place erupts as Myra screams “Yes! Yes! Yes!” May 6, 2001: After five years of part-time study, Myra walks across the stage of Seton Hall University with her Masters degree in Accounting.
